Dr. Neil Einbund has been a prominent psychotherapist in Los Angeles since 1986, as well as a teacher, author, mentor, and educational speaker.

With private practices in Century City and Tarzana California,Dr Einbund has counseled men, women, couples, and families with a wide range of challenges and issues. Included in his expertise are helping people with depression, anxiety, substance abuse and addictions, marriage, divorce, grief, aging parents, life altering decisions, career transitions and more.

In part of his practice, Dr. Einbund has spent the past 20 years instructing couples in the dynamics of a marital relationship. Included in these powerful courses are: How to communicate in an effective, unthreatening way to get your needs met; How to have a healthy fight and quick resolution; How to make room for intimacy, individuality, and sex in a faced paced society that leaves little free time; How to make emotional room for all the in-laws while also creating healthy, appropriate boundaries as a couple; How to share household chores that are equitable and reasonable for both partners without stereotyping; How to communicate about finances and debt and deal with the related stress; Looking at and living with family-of-origin issues that will arise in the marriage; and Remaining a couple once children arrive. This course is enlightening, empowering, and key to marital success.

Dr. Einbund received a Ph.D. degree in Counseling Psychology and Masters of Science from the University of Southern California (USC). He has both a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist and as a Clinical Psychologist.

Conducts Grief Group Therapy for Pierce Brothers Mortuary. For group members, this is truly a unique experience in grief counseling. Those family members encountering grief can come to the place where their loved on resides and walk directly into a place of healing, learning, and support. He has had the honor of watching spectacular change and development during the most painful times of life.

Conducted parenting courses over the past 10 years, often based on the best selling book, Blessings of a Skinned Knee (written by his colleague, Dr. Wendy Mogul). Most recently he has run Fathers Only groups to empower fathers in how to be the most effective, loving, and involved parent they can be.

Spent several years as a counselor at Santa Monica College. While there, he provided short-term psychotherapy, group therapy, interpersonal skills counseling, awareness and personal growth workshops for the students. These students were from all walks of life within the greater Los Angeles area.

Established an agency to provide quality psychological, education and Neuro-psychological assessments for newborns through geriatrics. He provided these via detailed evaluations to thousands of families in Southern California.
